Refund Policy

Effective Date: 4 July 2026

At Lumen Health, we sell digital educational products, including PDF guides and eBooks. Due to the nature of digital products, all purchases are delivered electronically and become immediately accessible after payment. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.

1. Digital Products

All products sold by Lumen Health are digital downloads. Once your purchase has been completed and the file has been delivered or made available for download, it is considered to have been received.

Because digital products cannot be "returned" in the same way as physical goods, all sales are generally final.

2. No Refunds for Change of Mind

We do not provide refunds because:

  • You changed your mind.
  • You no longer want the product.
  • You expected different information.
  • You disagree with the educational content.
  • You found similar information elsewhere.
  • You did not read the product description before purchasing.
  • The product did not meet your personal expectations.

We encourage all customers to carefully review the product description, included topics, and intended purpose before completing their purchase. By purchasing from Lumen Health, you acknowledge that you have made an informed purchasing decision.

3. Educational Content

Our guides are educational resources created to simplify scientific literature and improve understanding of complex topics. They are not personalised medical advice, treatment plans, or guarantees of outcomes.

Personal dissatisfaction with the opinions, presentation, writing style, level of detail, or educational approach of our content does not qualify for a refund.

4. AI-Assisted Content

Some of our educational material is created, summarised, organised, or refined using artificial intelligence alongside publicly available scientific literature.

While we make every reasonable effort to ensure accuracy, our products are educational resources and should not be interpreted as definitive medical, legal, or scientific authority. Purchasing our products acknowledges your understanding of this.

5. Technical Issues

If you experience genuine technical issues preventing access to your purchased product, please contact us. Where appropriate, we will:

  • Re-send your download link.
  • Provide an alternative download method.
  • Assist in resolving any access issues.

Technical support is always provided before any refund is considered.

6. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, or any other applicable New Zealand law.

If a product is faulty, cannot be accessed, or is materially different from what was advertised, we will work with you to provide an appropriate remedy as required by law.
